In fall of 2025, I attended a treaty day professional development day which included Treaty Education Framework, Learning Mi’kmaw Language and Exploring Mi’kmaw Art and Artists Sessions.
It was a highly educational day, allowing me to become more aware of Mi'kmaw culture in Nova Scotia and how to create a classroom inclusive of this culture.
These certificates represent two trainings session I completed, in which I was educated on how to create positive spaces in schools specifically geared towards inclusivity of the queer community
In fall of 2025, I completed WHMIS training in my Science: Curriculum and Instruction course in preparation for instructing labs in practicum and throughout my career
These are the First Aid certifications that I have held since 2018, and renew each June. Included are Airway Management, National Lifeguard – Waterfront, Intermediate Workplace First Aid with CPR C, and Oxygen Administration
